Logic released his first ever novel this past Tuesday (3/26). The novel, Supermarket, was accompanied by a 13-track soundtrack to supplement the novel’s story line.
The novel itself is about a depressed teen named Flynn who works at a supermarket and discovers a crime scene. The novel was released under Logic’s birth name, Bobby Hall.
‘Supermarket (Soundtrack)’ released the same day as the novel and features collaborations from Mac Demarco on two of the soundtrack’s songs. The album was released under the Alternative genre.
Regarding the soundtrack, Logic stated:
“I wanted to use my novel as an opportunity to challenge myself musically diving into a completely new genre.”
This is not the last we will hear of the Maryland rapper this year. Earlier this month, Logic announced a new album entitled ‘Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.’ No release date has been announced for the upcoming LP.
