The video for “No Guidance” is out, and it is everything we could’ve hoped for. Chris Brown and Drake, far past their 2012 beef, have teamed up for a friendly mocking of their previous drama.
The video opens with Drake entering the club, excited for the night and explicitly stating to one of his friends that he hopes “ol’ boy” isn’t at the function. Similarly, Breezy’s friend expresses similar concerns, to which Breezy swiftly replies that “ain’t nobody worried” about him. The song’s opening vocals find Drizzy spitting game to a girl, and as Breezy’s part begins the singer/rapper dances his way across the dance floor.
Inevitably, Drake and Chris meet on the dance floor, right before the song’s breakdown. The song pauses, and the two stare each other down, as the crowd watches anxiously waiting for something to go down. Then, a dance battle ensues, right as the beat drops. To no one’s surprise, Breezy’s dance moves wow the audience. Drake’s retaliation is comical, as he attempts to dance around Chris, but fails.
The entire video is a lighthearted, and comical experience, that still manages to showcase the song perfectly. Check out the video for “No Guidance” here!
