Multi-Grammy nominated singer/songwriter/producer Stokley just dropped a new impactful video for his song “We Me,” featured on his album Introducing Stokley.
In the black-and-white clip, Stokley touches on homelessness, the MeToo movement, natural disaster relief efforts, Black Lives Matter, The Women’s March, police injustice, and more displaying archival footage of events throughout the visual. Over the footage, Stokley is seen walking the street witnessing poverty and injustice.
As an artist, Stokley’s message is that we need real change in the world and this is his way of helping to motivate the masses to do something positive and good. During his efforts, he’s encouraging people to state what they are willing to help change (i.e. sexism, inequality, racism etc.) and to hashtag: #webethechange.
