The legendary Missy Elliot brings it back with a vibrant new single ‘Cool Off ’. The video seems to be a continuation series based in a museum dedicated to Missy Misdemeanor Elliott, herself.
This is the third video of the series, from Missy’s Ep ‘Iconology’ the first being ‘Throw It Back’, which was released in August of last year, and it gave us plenty of colorful scenes as well. The second being ‘Why I Still Love You’, which is more of a “singing single”, something we haven’t heard from Missy in some time, those scenes are told through the decades beginning in 1961.
‘Cool Off’ begins at the museum again, with comic book vibes and dancing statues. Within the lyrics, Missy spits a few dedication lines to her past hits such as ‘Lose Control’. While hearing this track, her listeners can’t help but to listen to other record breakers such as ‘Sock It 2 Me’.
