The North Carolina rap duo Little Brother released their highly-anticipated project ‘May the Lord Watch’ this past week. The album is the group’s first release since the 2010 album ‘Leftback.’
Yesterday, the music video for the standout track “Black Magic (Make It Better)” released. In the Jamund Washington directed visual, Little Brother members Phonte Coleman and Rapper Big Pooh party in Durham, North Carolina’s Black Wall Street district. The video is the perfect ode to their home city. Regarding the track, Pooh told Complex Magazine:
“We wrote ‘Black Magic (Make It Better) to inspire. No matter your personal struggle or where you are starting from in life, waking up gives you another shot at being better than you were the day before. We wanted a visual that felt organic and represented us and showed love to the city that birthed Little Brother, Durham NC.”
