Black joy, beauty and the talent of our youth shine a light in Jamila Woods‘s new “LSD,” video featuring Chance the Rapper.
Directed by Sam Bailey and Vincent Martell, the video was an incredible learning experience for students aspiring to be filmmakers like, Chicago senior, Ashley Huicochea who had the opportunity to shadow the directors from submitting a visual treatment for the video, called out by Jamila and Chance to all Chicago Public school students.
Six other finalists also had the chance to shadow other major crew members, on the set of the colorful cookout music video which song sampled the smooth and memorable R&B track “Where I Wanna Be” from soul singer Donell Jones.
