Ari Lennox released her debut album, ‘Shea Butter Baby,’ back in March. Today, she is back with the music video for her hit single, “BMO.” This is the fourth music video release from the debut project, following “Shea Butter Baby,” “Up Late,” and “Whipped Cream.”
The visual for “BMO” serves 90’s glam, fitting for the vintage vibe of the track. Ari dazzles in all of her boss chick glory. The music video was heavily influenced by Missy Elliot’s video for 1997 hit “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly).” Ari shared on Twitter:
“This is one of my favorite Music Videos ever. Directed by the legend Child! The song and the music video were inspired by Total and Missy Elliot.”
