Tink is back with the follow up to last year’s EP ‘Pain&Pleasure.’ Her latest project, a mixtape entitled ‘Voicemails,’ released today. This is Tink’s first mixtape since her 2016 release ‘Winter’s Diary 4.”
‘Voicemails’ is a 12-track project and serves as Tink’s first release after leaving her label back in 2018. Regarding her decision to go independent, Tink stated:
“I just felt like nobody was paying attention to what I had going on outside of me and Tim. For me, that was the red flag. I stepped into the deal just hoping that I would be accepted for whatever I created. It wasn’t that type of situation.”
“Bad Side,” the mixtape’s lead track, released back in March. The project’s only feature, “Ride It,” features Dej Loaf. It serves as a solid representation of Tink’s talent, and shows that she can stand on her own two without the backing of a label.
