‘Slow Down’ has been creeping up the charts since November 2019 and it’s finally gaining the recognition it deserves with the help of Wale to push it to the top.
According to Billboard, Skip Marley is the first Jamaican artist in 14 years to become a part of the top 20 R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
“For the first time in 14 years, a Jamaican has made the Top 20 of the @billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay Chart”. Says skip
Skips’ voice echos over the track giving it soothing vibes while H.E.R. adds the spice the melody needs, and Wale comes in with his voice hopping on each beat perfectly. There couldn’t have been a better trio for this track.
