Nigerian rising star Santi first started out as the rapper Ozzy B before transitioning into the multi-genre artist Santi. He gain attention over a year ago with his Suzie’s Funeral EP and standout cut, “Gangsta Fear”, featuring Odunsi. He’s known as the nu-gen of urban music artists coming out of Africa.
Today, Santi returns with a new single “Freaky” produced by Monster Boys’ Genio featuring artists Nonso Amadi and Bridge. The track blends together a fusion of Afrobeats, R&B and a dancehall vibe. “When you hear my songs and you see my videos, and you see the story and you see stuff you’ve not seen before, you’ll connect with me more, like, ‘Okay Santi, this is you, this is what you do, I get you” – Santi
Santi is also nurturing a filmmaking career, having co-directed the recent videos for ‘Jungle Fever’ and ‘Gangster Fear’.
