Caitlyn Smith releases new song “Put Me Back Together,” via Monument Records. The soulful track showcases the full range of Caitlyn’s powerhouse vocals as she observes, “Everybody says you’re no good for me/ But you’re my fucked-up remedy/ Boy, you put me back together again.
”Originally recorded by Cheat Codes featuring Kiiara, “Put Me Back Together” was co-written by Caitlyn with Jonny Smith, and Caitlyn felt compelled to record her own version as it was inspired by her marriage and holds a special meaning to her.
“I’m grateful to have found that person who can ease my mind and calm all the noise.” The song has been highlighted on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, and will be featured on Caitlyn’s highly-anticipated second album with more new music to come soon.
Surrounding Starfire’s release, Caitlyn completed her first-ever headlining tour and delivered high-profile performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night With Seth Meyers, and TODAY. She’ll hit the road again in 2020, recently confirmed as the main support to Little Big Town on their The Nightfall Tour. The tour will kick off January 18th, running through May 20th, with stops in major cities across the U.S. including New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, and two nights in Los Angeles.
