Beyoncé is giving her fans what they wanted…another visual album, but this time ‘Black Is King’ reveals the music from Beyoncé’s 2019 album, ‘The Lion King: The Gift‘, which just like ‘Black Is King’ was produced by the Queen B’s very own production company called Parkwood Entertainment.
“With this visual album, I wanted to present elements of Black history and African tradition, with a modern twist and a universal message, and what it truly means to find your self-identity and build a legacy…” stated Beyoncé .
The album will include features from artists such as, Jay Z, Childish Gambino, Burna Boy, Blue Ivy Carter, Tierra Whack and many more. The visual album will also include videos for Beyoncé’s ‘Mood 4 Eva‘ and ‘Brown Skin Girl’. “These timeless lessons are revealed and reflected through Black voices of today, now sitting in their own power. Black Is King is an affirmation of a grand purpose, with lush visuals that celebrate Black resilience and culture. The film highlights the beauty of tradition and Black excellence.” As of 3 a.m. (EST) July 31st, ‘Black Is King’ will be available to watch on Disney+
