Alternative R&B band Moonchild is very excited to release their new single “Get To Know It.”. Known for their spaced-out, Soulquarians-inspired grooves and the smooth vocals of Amber Navran, Max Bryk and Andris Mattson, the trio wrote and produced the single. Moonchild is currently in the studio working on a new project as well as preparing for new performance dates in 2019.
“The Song is about uncertainty and how you have to get comfortable with it in life. The future will always be uncertain, the faster we learn to love the feeling the easier we can rise,” states the LA-based band. “Thinking of uncertainty as a friend instead of running from it or waiting for it to go away to step forward. Jumping into the feeling. Getting to know it.”
The band formed in 2011 at USC, and has steadily grown within the scene ever since. They’ve made waves with songs like “Cure” and “The List,” and the discography has garnered them accolades from the likes of Quest Love, Rapsody, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and PJ Morton along with several interviews and mentions from press including NPR Music, that added their Voyager album in the “Five R&B Albums You Slept On In 2017.”
