Motown inspirational artist Royce Lovett is excited to announce the release of his new album Love & Other Dreams on July 14. Royce co-wrote alongside songwriter and producer Max Stark (Kirk Franklin, Tamela Mann, and The Walls Group) on the new seven-song album. The album will infuse hip-hop, soul, and rock covering life realities ranging from fun, playful, touch of melancholy and love.
The Tallahassee native groomed his lyrical skills for years as an underground emcee and has been signed to Motown Gospel since 2014. He’s toured the globe and performed alongside the likes of Wale, Vince Staples, George Clinton, and P-Funk in between releasing a series of independent albums.
Love & Other Dreams will be available for pre-order starting June 30 and will be sold via all physical and digital retailers. Fans who pre-order the album on iTunes will immediately be able to download two songs from the project—“Up For Love” and “Runnin’.”
“When listeners hear this, I hope they walk away feeling encouraged and heroic,” states Lovett. “I don’t think music changes people. That comes from within. I do think that music can push them over the edge and bring them closer together though.”
