Janet Jackson has become the latest artist to announce a residency in Las Vegas. In addition to Drake, Cardi B, Bruno Mars, French Montana, and Christina Aguilera, the 52-year-old performer will be performing in the city for 15-show length residency.
Janet Jackson’s residency will take place in Park Theatre, located in Park MGM Resort, and is set to kick off on May 17th. Her residency will span through August 10th. She has dubbed the residency “#MetamorphasisVegas” in a tweet. In a press release, it was revealed:
“Fans will follow her path to self-love, empowerment, motherhood and activism, amidst the challenges faced along her personal journey.. She encourages her audiences to find their own light within themselves through her Metamorphosis.”
The show is also set to include a tribute to her album ‘Rhythm Nation.’ The album, a milestone in Janet’s career, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Pre-sale tickets for Janet Jackson’s Las Vegas shows will go on sale today (2/27) and the general public sale will begin on March 2nd.
