Drake decided to donate to the organization after his fellow collaborator Mustafa the Poet, who firstly donated $400, which the Poet then decided to tag Drake and The Weeknd in an Instagram Story post in order to get the international stars to get involved. “My Toronto Kings @champagnepapi @theweeknd,” he wrote. “Swipe up & match my donation but add 3 zeros! Let’s help reunite black families.”
Drake replied by posting, “They just called fraud on my card LOL,” the rapper told Mustafa before it went through. “I donated 100k. They were like nah.” Last month the organization had reunited 69 women with their families. Check out the organization here and donate.
