Introducing Our Featured Artist, Sencere Tucker
Shortly after his birth in Chicago, IL, Sencere Tucker, and his family relocated to Las Vegas, NV. A dysfunctional household helped shape his love for “art” in a written form. Additionally, he fell in love with all aspects of music, because it allowed him to express himself in the most poetic and relatable way. Some years past, but his love for the craft hasn’t wavered. He plans on sharing his art with all who will listen as he represents, “Strange Campus.” Strange Campus, much like Sencere’s style is a concept that speaks to the misfits, the rebels, and the out-of-box thinkers that make this world great. He dropped a mixtape in 2015 entitled “Finally Free”, which was a collection of gems that were recorded in during 2011 – 2013.
His music is heavily influenced by the likes of Nas, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Tupac to name a few. He blends complex self-aware lyrics that are both intimately personal, and deeply passionate. He’s currently in the process of releasing his much-anticipated mixtape as he continues to grow his following.
