Last night, J Cole, Jay-Z, YG, Drake, Big Sean, and Jeremih were all in the same building—at the same damn time. Cole gave his hometown an electrifying performance, courtesy of his “Forest Hills Drive Tour”, at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville N.C.
Lovethistrack.com spoke to a few people that were in attendance and they all referred to the show as being “fire”. Both Jay-Z and Drake expressed to the crowd their love for J. Cole, which depicts the brotherhood amongst the three. Cole has always showed love to his city. Earlier this year, he allowed several single mothers to live in his childhood home rent-free for two years. He has always been committed on giving back to his community. His album, which is also titled Forest Hill Drive, is the reason why he is the first artist to go platinum without a feature in 25 years. Not to mention, upon the album’s release, no singles were even leaked and he still was able to move 353,000 copies the first week. What a big year for Cole!
