Lovethistrack attended the third Annual Broccoli City Festival in Washington, DC this past Saturday!
The Broccoli Fest is the only urban earth day festival residing in Washington DC. Here are the highlights!
At the time we arrived Tiara Thomas was fully lit and ready to hit the stage, where she engaged the crowd singing about weed smoking, mentioning she had four blunts on the way to the show. But the raw organic singer from Indiana performed a number of songs including “ F*ck Up some Commas”, Notorious Thugs” and performs ‘Bad’, Wale’s Hit single. Great performances from Tiara Thomas. Great Talent!
Tink hits the stage and the crowd got excited! Tink definitely has stage presence acting her lines from her songs; engages with us in the crowd. She was very animated and keep the crowd’s attention! Think Tink!
One of the big highlights of the Festival was Jaden & Willow Smith! The crowd starting shouting Jaden & Willow name just before they hit the stage! Jaden bows to the crowd before appearing, showing he was humbled to be there. He performs first followed by him & Willow captivated the stage performing a few songs they created together! Willow’s song titled ‘5’ was the one the best performances of the entire Festival! Jaden compliments Willow’s well with rapping & backing her up when she is performing! They were joined by their mother, Jada Pickett-Smith dancing with them on stage! Check it out!
By the time it was scheduled for JoeyBa$$ to hit the stage, the freezing rain forced some concert goers to leave. His fans decided to stay and support him in the cold, rainy conditions. Erykah Badu’s set was not allowed to be recorded. Under her another persona DJ Low Down Loretta Brown, she played hip-hop joints, R&B, and some classic songs!
