It’s rare that a 31 one-year-old rapper can break the age barrier, but rapper, Young Greatness is making a name for himself doing just that! Born and raised in the City of Jazz, New Orleans, Young Greatness hit the spotlight with his breakthrough trap track “Moolah”. “Moolah” has been climbing the boards of the rap charts and is a banger to blast in the car, club or anywhere.
Although Young Greatness is not content with just being locally known around New Orleans, he aims to put the city back in the limelight. One of the newest signees of the label Quality Control which boasts rappers such as Migos, Rich the Kid, and OG Maco, he’s ready to live up to his name and striving to reach the next level of the rap game. This past October Young Greatness won the fifth annual NOLA Hip-Hop Award for Mixtape of the Year for his tape Dollar for Hate. Recently Young Greatness released a mixtape, which featured rappers like Quavo and Yo Gotti named I Tried To Tell Em, which can be found on Itunes or Spotify.
Lyrics filled with a past life of struggling, hustling and selling drugs may be about to change to a life of blowing cash and making money, as he becomes a big name in hip-hop once his premier album is released from Quality Control. Already on tour with fellow Louisiana native, Kevin Gates, look out for these two coming to a city near you. As Young Greatness says #moolahseason is among us all.
